Amber Simers

Starting with my first job in high school as a front-line teller at a local bank, I knew that my eye for detail and easy communication style made me a great fit for the world of banking and finance. I came to Denver in 2004 and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance while also working my way through college with a mid-sized, Denver-based bank. Over that time, I was able to steadily expand my responsibilities and develop a deep understanding of many core banking activities, including branch operations, relationship development, and commercial lending.

After almost 15 years in retail and business banking, I made the transition into the mortgage industry in 2020. Whether I am helping people refinance and lower their monthly payments or financing the purchase of a new home, I have found the mortgage business to be incredibly rewarding. There are few other businesses that have the same type of real-world impact on peoples’ everyday lives, and I feel fortunate knowing that I can make a difference.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my two spoiled dogs. I love immersing myself in foreign cultures and seeing daily life through new and different perspectives. And of course, you can’t pass up the local cuisine! I’m all about trying new things, so if there is a new restaurant or event, count me in!
